Anyone using it already?  Any good?  I was thinking about picking it up soon.

People say it's better than Vista, although that's not saying much.

I never got around to trying it in the beta, but might pick it up when I decide to do my next PC.

I can't comment on the Vista thing because I went from 32 bit XP straight to 64 bit windows 7, and I'm loving it. I haven't had any driver or compatibility issues at all. The interface is very nice and clean, and I didn't have any trouble at all getting used to it.

Yeah I just went ahead and picked up W7...gotta say I like it...certainly improved performance compared to the disaster that is Vista.

Well it is saying a lot considering when Vista was released there was a myriad of problems with it. Haven't heard of any major problems with W7.

I got 7-Professional on a new machine I built, I was really drawn by the virtual XP environment.

It installed super fast, had drivers for all the hardware, and was ready to go.

Since then it has been really easy to work with, no Vista headaches that I've seen. I mostly skipped Vista except on one work laptop.

I'd recommend it if you are getting a new PC, or just feel like upgrading.

I second that...I am really liking W7 so far.

Using it right now, it's pretty good, but the performance improvements aren't as great as marketing would have you believe, nor are there too many new features. If you already have Vista, this probably isn't too worthwhile. XP or below would be a different story.
