So I picked up Borderlands for the PC yesterday, and I have to say it is a lot of fun if you can find a good online game with some decent players (which I was lucky enough to do eventually...the game matching system is pretty lame so far).

Pretty intense action, and the ability to level up and assign skill points add some depth.  The soldier class even has a skill tree that lets him heal others by shooting them or tossing grenades near them...seems similar to the GA Medic Smiley

Anyway...so far I am having a blast with it.  I am hoping it holds me over until GA comes out.

I bought it over the weekend as well. My friend and I played through the first act (level 20ish) and had some fun. I wish the multiplayer was a little closer to Diablo where you don't actually have to stay all together in the same zone. Obviously this would work better with more than four though.

I like all the gun options, a few more gear slots might have been cool though... a lot of stuff just goes to waste because you can only use so many weapons.

I have it on PC and I'm around level 45ish and on my second play through. I've been grouping with 2 Soldiers and me (Brick). I warn anyone planning on rolling Brick that the second play-through is really miserable compared to the first. In the first one I was completely raping everything, and my buddies were pretty much just picking up the loot. Now it's the complete opposite, except they do insane amounts of damage and I still do pretty good damage but no where near there's. Also, I literally have not gotten one drop since we started our second time.

Yeah I must admit my soldier is becoming insanely powerful with how fast the turret recharges.  Can't say I have found any good drops yet for Combat Rifles...I have an OK one but nothing special...

I'm late but, I've had this since it first came out for 360. I'm playing Mordecai, and love it. I'm level 50, on my second play through, I absolutely rape everything lol. It's kinda not fun anymore to be honest. I murder everything is 1-3 shots. Most of my headshots are game over for most mobs.
I give this game a 9/10 though, can't wait for some DLC!

I had the most amazing game last night in Borderlands....straight out of Starship Troopers.  Me (a soldier), a berserker, and two sirens were completing the mission A Bug Problem (or some name like that) where you have to disturb the hives and kill the boss spiderant that emerges.  We did that with no problem, but then suddenly we were swarmed by what appeared to be every spiderant in the game suddenly descended upon us in non-stop waves.  I kid you not, the fight lasted easily over 10 minutes...to give you some perspective, I had just dinged 49 going into the fight and I dinged 50 by the end of it.

Insane...I can't remember the last time I had so much fun playing a game!  Man I can't wait for GA to come out...I sure hope it is as hectic Smiley

It was a lot of fun but the game didn't last very long, me and my clan mates ended up beating it in a couple days then farmed for weapons for a couple more days.

Overall though the storyline was excellent, but forcing a second play through in order to hit maximum level seemed kind of stupid :/

Also the fact that you couldn't do a third playthrough was a bit of a letdown.

Was a really fun game, but it had to slow down and stop at some point. I played it for a good week or two and had a ton of fun. But after I conquered it, seemed kinda worthless to play it. They need some DLC I guess. With MW2 out, and GA this weekend, it's pretty much finished for me. I might go trade it in to gamestop or something...

Yeah it will slow down for me too...still, I have found a group a good guys to run with and they are happy just going out and having a good co-op skirmish for a few minutes.  Keeps it fun still for me....for now...
