This heavy weapons specialist is clad in the thickest armour available, allowing for a sustained presence on the open battlefield while laying down a withering barrage of explosive firepower.
Assault Roles
Damage Dealing: The assault is the heavy weapons based class, equipped with miniguns, rocket launchers, and grenade launchers. The "hard hitting meat shield" if you must; from gunning down a room full of robots in a mission to destroying a strategic defense point with various types of grenades, the Assault class is the Rambo of Global Agenda.
Tanking and Absorbing: The Assault can always take a hit, even when playing offensive, however when equipped defensively, an Assault becomes a true beast able to soak up the damage. When supported by a Medic, a defensive Assault becomes the spearhead of any mission, running in ahead of the charge and drawing enemy fire from his allies. A defensive Assault equips stronger shield devices and group defenses.
Playing as an Assault
The Assault player is always eager to jump into combat and let others worry about his health while he launches rockets and hurls grenades. The Assault player doesn't worry much about assassins, but should always remain aware of his supporting allies, especially his Medics. An Assault player needs to know when to use his own abilities to benefit others and when to fall back to a more well defended position to regroup.
Unfortunately for an Assault player, the fallback signal is usually his own death.
