In Global Agenda, players form agencies to work together toward common goals. An Agency is equivalent to a guild from any of your fantasy themed online games and as such carries much of the same attributes. Since Global Agenda is so focused on team-based gameplay, almost every player will belong to an Agency.

Each Agency has their own headquarters and can control various parts of the game world. Agencies will battle each other over control of the different territories thus facilitating much of the game's player vs player content.
