Official Description

The medic strikes an effective balance between distributing healing effects to keep companions alive, and unleashing nightmarish toxins on unfortunate enemies.

Medic Roles

Healing and Support: The Medic class is the only healer class in Global Agenda. The Medic has the important task of keeping himself and his team members alive and killing. To do so, the Medic employs items such as healing grenades, health channeling weapons, and various area-of-effect group heals.

Damage and Support: In addition to healing, Medics have the choice to take on a more offensive role by using more damaging equipment rather than healing equipment. For instance, a Medic may buff up his Bio-Rifle and carry bio-grenades while employing various other area damaging effects.

Playing as a Medic

As with any game, if you are a healer, you are a target. The Medic is under constant pressure trying to balance healing on his team while maintaining a safe position and evading assassins seeking to cut him down or disable him. As a result, a Medic must always be well guarded by team members when taking up the healing role. While his heals are more than enough to turn the tide of any battle, a strong enemy will know this and always seek to take him out.

A Medic that plays a more offensive role will still see himself targeted often by enemies who assume he will be healing. Fortunately, an offensive Medic has tools to counter such attacks. However, a Medic should always maintain a supporting role, throwing out his bio-damage and providing small heals on wounded friends.
